What is JUSP?

JUSP (JISC Usage Statistics Portal) provides a single point of access to e-journal usage reports from multiple publishers, avoiding the need to visit individual websites to gather statistics. Libraries get quick and easy access to a wide range of added-value reports to help analyse usage and
establish value for money, assisting in purchasing and renewal decisions.

JUSP was developed by Jisc to reduce administration for libraries harvesting COUNTER compliant usage statistics. It is used by over 200 UK academic libraries and supported by 80 key publishers.

In 2016 CAVAL ran a successful JUSP pilot with participation from seven leading publishers and five prestigious Australia universities. In 2017 CAVAL, in partnership with Jisc, launched JUSP for all academic libraries in Australia and New Zealand.
