We suggest

• Bus Route 340 as the fastest public transport route to CAVAL, departing from Cnr. Flinders St. & Elizabeth St., City.

Victoria's Melbourne's Public Transport website covers all types of travel.

From the Airport:

Take the airport bus to the City and choose your transport options from those below to reach CAVAL, or take a taxi direct. CAVAL is approximately 18km from Melbourne Airport. Estimated taxi fare approximately $40-$45.

Skybus Airport shuttle service to & from the city.

Airport mini-bus service operating from and to suburban Melbourne.

Note: Southern Cross station is Melbourne's main bus and train terminal for national & state wide travel including the Skybus that operates between Melbourne Airport and Melbourne city.

From Southern Cross station we suggest Bus Route 340 as the fastest public transport route to CAVAL.

Trains:

Train timetables available here. Choose the Hurstbridge line and select Macleod station as the destination station. City stations include Parliament, Melbourne Central, Flagstaff, Southern Cross and Flinders Street.

From Macleod Station turn right into McNamara Street, then left into Joynt Street, follow Joynt Street to the end at Waiora Road, turn left then right into Forensic Drive, follow the footpath then the walking track until you reach Park Drive. The CARM Centre is at this end of Park Drive.

Trams:

Bundoora RMIT - Telstra Dome Docklands, Route 86, via Preston > Northcote> Fitzroy> City
Alight at stop 60 (La Trobe University)
Cross over Plenty Road to the Bus terminal in front of the Medical Centre. Catch any city bound bus to Kingsbury Drive and Waterdale Road intersection. Head back into the La Trobe Campus, turn right at both the first and second roundabout and Park Drive is the first street on the left. The CARM Centre is at the far end of Park Drive.

Buses:

City to La Trobe University. For bus route information check the "Timetables" section of the
Ventura & National Bus Companies web site.

Get off the bus at Waterdale Road immediately after crossing Kingsbury Drive. Turn right at both the first and second roundabouts and Park Drive is the first street on the left. The CARM Centre is at the far end of Park Drive.

Parking:

There is plenty of parking available at The CARM Centre.  When you arrive please go to reception to get a visitors parking permit. This permit must be displayed in your car and returned to reception when you leave.
