Interlibrary Loans for CARM Members Libraries
CARM Member Libraries
Items cannot be directly borrowed from the CARM Centre. Requests to use items must be made through your library.
Requests from CARM member libraries will receive priority over requests from non-member libraries.
If an item is unavailable or not held at the CARM Centre, CARM member libraries will be notified within 24 hours.
Books must be returned to the CARM Centre using a courier service that tracks items, Express Post or by Registered Mail.
Service Level: Premium (Applies only to copies)
Turnaround time: 2 hours
Cost: $13.20 (incl. GST)
Description: Material needed immediately. CARM dispatches copy via Ariel or email, or indicates that it cannot supply item within two hours from receipt of the request.

LOANS
All loans are sent using a courier service that tracks items or Express Post.
Requests received before 2pm:
Requests received before 2pm will be process same day.
Requests received after 2pm:
Requests received after 2pm will be shipped processed next business day.
COPIES
Copies will be sent as PDFs via email or directly to the requesters document store if applicable within 24 hours of receipt of request.
Copies sent by CARM Interlibrary Loans include a cover sheet with the Copyright Declaration. The CARM Interlibrary Loans department adheres to section 50 of the Australian copyright act.
